Etienne Allemeersch coffee table

Rectangular coffee table by Etienne Allemeersch (1926-2002), from the 1970's.  The rare "marquetterie de marbre" tabletop (4cm thick), in a patchwork from Pakistanian onyx, rests on a solid wooden base. When rays of light hit this colorful structure, the warm & earthy tones come to full vividness! Personal favourite, this one.
