Vintage industrial dustbin

Industrial champagne-white dustbin from postwar Czechoslovakia. The cromated, curved top is tiltable by pushing the ribbed, bakelite pedal. It uncovers a galvanised, removable bin on the inside. When the top closes down again, it does so in absolute silence by hitting a bordeaux-red leather brim.
