Kaiser desk lamp

Designed by the German silversmith Christian Dell in the 1930's. It is an iconic Bauhaus lamp, determinative symbol of German design. Kaiser refers to the original manufacturer of the lamp (Kaiser brothers & co.), while 'idell' is a contraction of 'idea' and 'Dell', the designer's last name.
