Set of 2 Tatra model 24-23 lounge chairs

Pair of iconic Tatra  model 24-23 lounge chairs, Czechoslovakia, 1960's. Designed by Frantisek Jirák for Tatra Nabytok. This Central European design classic really stands out because of its inspired, bentwood armrests. The Czechoslovakian producers were masters of this technique, which continued the pioneering work of Thonet & Hoffman in that area. Overall pretty good condition, some minor wear & tear of the original fabric, with some reddishness less vibrant than back in the dat. Yet no cuts! One armrest has a minor dot of wood chipped out.
